or the New Territories

and now

relentlessly march

toward numbered gates

and all points

they watch themselves

playing monkey see monkey do

at every airport shop

from here to terminal 2 eternity

I smile and wave the sky

to an early morning security guard

who shares so much excitement

for a solar eclipse.
